Founded in December of 2006 after the passing of Don Williams, the Animal Healing fund strives to continue his work to help pets and strays in need. Rescue animals or those whose owners cannot afford life-saving medical care can be helped through this fund. Area veterinarians who participate in STAF's spay/neuter certificate program will be notified of the criteria for assistance and will be able to refer special-needs cases to STAF. The fund is ran by Save the Animals Foundations (STAF) and works in conjunction with Clayton Veterinary Associates, Churchtown Veterinary Associates and other local clinics.
